Schiphol, Le Bourget 16 June 2023 – Stéphane Chemama joins Athlon as Managing Director of Athlon France per 19 June 2023. He succeeds Bruno Morizur, who continues his career as Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services France. In addition to his responsibility for the French market, Stéphane Chemama will join the Athlon Executive Committee, which steers the Athlon Group. He will report to CEO Christian Schüler.

Stéphane Chemama has over 20 years of experience in the mobility sector. He has held several leadership positions at BNP Paribas, most recently he was Global Partnership Director, in charge of steering Jaguar Land Rover Financial Services across nine markets in Europe. Before that, he led the Automotive Wholesale Finance Business line and steered the Asset Management Strategy as Mobility Global Head of Business Operations. Chemama was Director at Accenture Strategy and held different leadership positions at Nissan for the Infiniti brand, under which General Manager of Infiniti South Europe and Corporate Sales & Used Car Director. Before joining Nissan, Chemama was Branch Director at BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions and CFO for Arval in Russia. He started his career at PSA Peugeot Citroën. Chemama holds an Executive MBA from ESCP Business School and a Master of Science in Management from SKEMA Business School.

Schiphol - Fritz Karbaum is part of the Athlon Executive Committee as Chief Financial Officer since 1 January. In this role, Fritz is responsible for Finance and Controlling across Athlon. He succeeds Christian Rottenkolber who has been appointed CFO of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services North America.
